As Head of Content Design at the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), I lead the department's GOV.UK publishing programme, content standards, and Content Design team.

When I first moved into government I led a content programme at the Government Digital Service (GDS) focused on data policy, data ethics and data science in UK government, including a data literacy programme aimed at improving the dialogue between policy makers and data scientists.

Before working in government I was responsible for Three UK’s Knowledge & Digital Content programme and team, which created, managed and refined multichannel digital content covering all that customers and customer facing staff needed to know about Three's products, services and business processes.

I've also been Content Director at vnunet.com, Group Editor at Learned Information Europe, Editor at Information World Review, Knowledge Management Magazine, Digital Strategies Newsletter and Library Manager magazine.

In addition, I've launched and published my own magazine, App Publisher, an app based magazine about moving content onto mobile.
